From the humble beginnings of distributing fliers in their neighborhood to promote snow shoveling services as kids, Tammy Schotzko and her business partner, Shawn Callahan, have always embraced their entrepreneurial spirit. Today, they are excited to share their journey, which includes building a successful 12-unit short-term rental business, a residential cleaning and organizing venture, and now expanding into commercial spaces under the banner of Green Gate.

In 2021, Tammy and Shawn took a significant leap by starting to build their dream of opening a cozy coffee shop on Main Street in Biwabik, MN. They worked with a professional to design an efficient kitchen floor plan, installed brand-new commercial equipment, and connected with many outstanding individuals in the entrepreneurial community across northern Minnesota.
